BUTTERFLY

THIS POST COINCIDES WITH THE WEDDING ANNIVERSARY OF MY BIG COUSIN AND SECOND DAD, PASTOR ADEWALE AKINADE AND HIS DELECTABLE WIFE, AUNTY FUNKE. MAY YOUR HOME CONTINUALLY BE A MODEL FOR EXCELLENCE AND UNADULTERATED LOVE, AND YOUR HONEYMOON WILL NEVER END

Butterfly flew beside me on the bushy path

Cute, sweet, and well blended colours it had

Out I stretched my hand to draw it nigh

My hand, fragranced aright

Butterfly chose to dance around me everyday

Said I gave so near what it sought so far

Giddy giddy I felt all within

For with me was the envy of all in the hills

An experience of sorts it was

For butterfly and me in turns

For I must stay well supplied in what fragrance

Butterfly loves to prosper, otherwise it flounders

Stay oh beautiful fauna

For on the bushy path are the wicked

Who seek to fall you in a clatter

Consuming the beauty you offer
